Is laser hair removal safe if I have Implanon NXT as contraception? I would like to remove hair with a laser, including in the armpit area. Will the laser in this area damage the Implanon NXT, or will it weaken its effectiveness, since the armpits are close to the implant site? I am a little worried because I have thin skin and I lost weight after installing Implanon NXT. After losing weight, Implanon became more noticeable – sometimes I see its outlines under the skin when I bend and tense my arm, and one end stands out in the form of a small bump. Does the laser in other areas (bikini, legs) affect the performance and contraceptive effectiveness of Implanon NXT?
And one more thing: is it normal that after losing weight, Implanon NXT became more noticeable? It doesn't move and it doesn't hurt, but I can see it under the skin when I bend my arm. My doctor doesn't see the problem, but I'm still a little worried. Thank you for your answer.
