Hello, I suffer from generalized anxiety, I took citaroplam for 7 months, the doctor first increased it to 20, it was so-so, then to 30 mg And it was ok and he said that we would increase to 40 mg And after two weeks from the increase I went through hell, all the side effects appeared, I know that this is not a typical situation. I told the doctor that I would change the dose and so I changed it to 30 mg for a while, it was ok and then it was a tragedy again, so we decided that I was giving up these drugs and I had not taken medication for 2.5 weeks. When I started to reduce them, it was getting better, the effects began to go away: muscle tightening, muscle tremors, insomnia, tinnitus, terrible medications. It was fine until the day before yesterday, again muscle trembling, unswnnosv and anxiety, which is still there, but sometimes comes in stronger moments, and terrible trembling of the hands, headache, as if the medication was still working, although I don't take them anymore. How long can the effects of withdrawal last?
I will add that my neurosis only makes me anxious and worried about everything and intrusive thoughts. And since I took the 40 mg dose, things started to go so bad. The psychologist says that he does not tolerate drugs. But how long can you wait for all this to subside and the drug to stop working
