If I pull out the IUD, will my hearing return to normal if I had otosclerosis?
I have a question I am after surgery for otosclerosis on two ears . I have the impression that my hearing is deteriorating. Can the cause be a hormonal insert?. At the visit to the gynecologist, I informed about the operation. Now it bothers me. If I pull out the IUD, my hearing will return to normal.

To the best of my knowledge, there is no data that contraception in the form of a hormonal IUD significantly affects hearing. If you observe a deterioration of health in this area, it is worth contacting a specialist who previously treated otosclerosis.
