Hello,
I'm 23 years old, I'm taking lamotrigine and venflaxin. My menstruation is a terrible torment for me – heavy bleeding, periodic pains to fainting/vomiting, cramps, breast tenderness, kidney pain, mood swings. After going to the gynaecologist with this problem, the doctor prescribed me the drug drovelis. This is the first hormonal contraception in my life. I must admit, after reading the leaflet and online reviews, I am terrified. Is it a good choice of contraception? Or is it worth trying some others? I had the impression that the doctor did not listen to me too much, I am afraid of side effects and deterioration of my current health (I already have graying and falling hair, weight fluctuations, very high water retention in the body, mood swings, etc.).
I only wanted to improve the quality of menstruation so that it would not be so painful to the point of inability to work, but I am afraid that this drug is not a good solution.
