12 weeks ago I got an intimate infection, which resulted in pollakiuria, burning and pain in the urethra and glans. The pollakiuria passed quickly, but more ailments began to appear, pain in one testicle, itching and burning around the anus. My family doctor in Poland did a complete blood count and a urine test. Elevated leukocytes in the urine came out. He prescribed me Cipronex for ten days. The symptoms did not go away. A family doctor in Norway, where I live, performed a culture for common bacteria, as well as chlamydia, gonorrhea and cytoplasm. The results were negative. I did a home antigen test for the 8 most common STDs and the result for Candida came out positive. I used topical clotrimazole ointment for a few days and the burning and redness of the glans and anus stopped. In the meantime, pain in the groin and lower abdomen appeared. A urologist in Poland did an ultrasound, examined my prostate and mucous membranes and everything was fine. Upon learning that I lived in Norway, he suggested that I might have syphilis, but that I had tested positive for Candida and I had no ulcers or fever, he said that it could be mycosis. He prescribed me two packs of fluconazole 200 mg and said that if I got over it after 7 days, I should not take the second pack. It went through and so I did. After three days, the symptoms of itching, burning and pain returned to intensify in the groin and anal area. 2 days later, a dark red spot appeared on my lip, which disappeared within a week with nystatin 3 times a day. The stain didn't ooze or ulcer, but the skin around my mouth burned. I used clotrimazole ointment again and it helped with itching. However, pain in the groin and coccyx area still appeared. In addition, for several days I have initially felt itching on the skin of my back and abdomen, and now a burning sensation with no visible changes on the skin. I read that this could be a side effect of Flukofast, but it's been 9 days since the last dose, so I don't know if it's possible. Maybe it's a reaction to the stress I've been under for a long time? My family doctor in Poland did a complete blood count and another urine test. This time my urine was clear, but my blood has slightly elevated leukocytes and lymphocytes. He recommended choosing a second pack of Flukofast and prescribed me the antibiotic Levoxa. My question is, could candidiasis have spread like this? Does it make sense to take this antibiotic? Today, after two doses of Flukofast, my throat started to burn and a thick secretion was flowing, hard to swallow. After a few hours it eased, but I can see that the tonsils are red. If it is really candidiasis, isn't the next treatment of 7 days too short? None of the doctors referred me for detailed examinations in this direction. I'll be in Norway on Sunday. To be sure, I will do a quick test for syphilis. Should I go to the doctor immediately for another dose of lucofast so that I don't stop the treatment again? Thank you in advance for your help
