A year ago I put on an insole. I just discovered with horror that in a year the expiration date ends. Does this mean that I have to remove it then? Will it be ineffective or harmful after this time?

The expiration date is for your doctor and refers to the date after which you should not put on a Kyleen IUD. However, it does not affect the date of removal of the IUD - Kyleena is used to prevent pregnancy (contraception) for up to five years. In other words, the expiration date of the IUD indicated on the packaging should not be confused with the period of use. I enclose additional information about the Kyleena system - prescription drugs can be booked at GdziePoLek and collected stationary upon presentation of the prescription: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/95362/kyleena-przyrzad/apteki/w-warszawie
