To @Bernadeta:

Diarrhoea, which occurs after drinking coffee or yogurt with bacterial cultures, will not affect the effectiveness of contraceptive implants.

The implant works continuously, releasing the hormone regardless of the functioning of the digestive system. However, if the diarrhea is very severe and lasts for a long time (several days), it may affect the absorption of some oral medications, but implants that act locally are not affected.

And will diarrhoea, which occurs after drinking coffee or drinking yogurt with bacterial cultures, I go to the toilet and have diarrhoea, often affect the contraceptive implant?

To @Anna:

Ice swimming in cold water when you have a contraceptive implant is safe, but it is always worth consulting a doctor before engaging in this activity.

Contraceptive implants are effective and do not require specific dietary restrictions, so a healthy diet rich in vegetables and fiber will not adversely affect their performance.

Anna  (Anonymous, 185.246.208.) 5 months ago

Even if I often go to places where it is humid ?
Can you ice swim in cold water with a contraceptive implant? Or a copper cylinder? And my last question, what does it look like, if someone eats a lot like me and also eats a lot of green vegetables, sprouts, various fancy dishes, black pasta, brown pasta with fiber and also drinks a lot of water with lemon and honey, will it affect the contraceptive implant? Do you have to be very careful about eating such a healthy 100% if I have a contraceptive implant?

To @Anna:

The described situation is not a contraindication to the use of the above-mentioned methods of contraception. I recommend that you consult a gynecologist. He or she will help you choose the right method of contraception for you. If necessary, you can arrange a teleconsultation here:

And what if I go to the sauna every day and there is very high humidity there, so that I sweat all over and I go out all red, I go to the sauna every day and in such a warm and humid environment, and I go to a sauna ritual where I feel the hot air that blows on me and there are smells to inhale such as cinnamon and patchoi
My question is, which contraception will be more effective for me? Contraceptive implant or copper IUD ? If I go to places where it is very hot, I sweat and inhale various smells, and the environment is veeery humid

To @Anna:

The contraceptive implant is an effective method of preventing pregnancy and works mainly by releasing progestogen, which affects ovulation and thickens cervical mucus.

Wilson's disease and copper allergy should not affect the performance of the implant because it does not contain copper or other metals. Intestinal problems should also not reduce the effectiveness of the implant, because the hormone released from the implant works systemically, not through the digestive system.

However, before deciding to have an implant, it is worth consulting a doctor to make sure that it is the best method of contraception in your health situation.

Anna  (Anonymous, 84.17.55.) 5 months ago

And if I decided to have a contraceptive implant and I have a problem with my intestines, as well as Wilson's disease and I am allergic to copper, can I have a contraceptive implant?
The effectiveness of the implant reduces these diseases ?

To @Anna:

No, this situation does not affect contraceptive protection . Nevertheless, this situation is detrimental to your overall health. It is worth using the help of a specialized company that will help you remove the fungus from the room and recommend appropriate treatment to prevent the recurrence of the fungus.

Anna  (Anonymous, 185.246.208.) 5 months ago

And I have a question: if there is mold and mildew on the wall in my room and I inhale it while in the room, and I have a copper insert on for a week, will it affect the effectiveness of pregnancy prevention? Can the effectiveness of the IUD be reduced? By inhaling this ?

To @Anna:

Before inserting a copper IUD, always consult a doctor who will conduct appropriate tests and health history.

Although the copper IUD itself is an effective method of contraception, it does not affect protection against sexually transmitted diseases such as HIV or gonorrhea. If you have not been tested for these diseases, it will not affect the effectiveness of the IUD, but it is worth considering doing it for your own health.

A copper IUD protects against pregnancy but does not provide protection against sexually transmitted diseases, so it is always a good idea to use extra protection, such as condoms, if there is a risk of infection.

Anna  (Anonymous, 185.246.208.) 5 months ago

With a copper IUD, no matter what copper one, do you need to be tested before inserting whether I have HIV or gonorrhea. And what if I haven't done such tests, will it affect the effectiveness of my copper cylinder? No matter what it would be?
I will not be protected against pregnancy ?

Up to @Hhhhg:

In the case of PCOS, insulin resistance and hirsutism, the use of an IUD (both hormonal and copper) is possible and usually does not affect its effectiveness in preventing pregnancy.

These diseases do not impair the performance of the IUD, but you should discuss the details with your gynaecologist to choose the right method in the context of your health condition. Digestive system problems such as diarrhea also do not affect the effectiveness of the IUD because it works locally rather than systemically.

I'm talking about a non-hormonal IUD

Hhhhg (Anonymous, 84.17.55.) 5 months ago

If I have PCOS and hirsutism, insulin resistance and problems with bowel movements, diarrhea, problems with the digestive system
Can I use an IUD on? Will these diseases affect this IUD that I will not be protected against pregnancy?
