When taking Escitalopram and Mirtazapine, is medical marijuana therapy possible and safe?

I am taking escitalopram at a dose of 15mg in the morning and mirtazapine at a dose of 15 in the evening. (In connection with ASD, OCD, anxiety and insomnia)

Is medical marijuana therapy possible at all with these drugs, if so, would it be advisable and safe?

Using medical cannabis in combination with medications such as Escitalopram and Mirtazapine is theoretically possible, but it comes with the risk of interactions and increased side effects. Cannabis can affect the metabolism of these drugs, which can lead to their accumulation in the body and increased side effects.

If you are considering this form of therapy, consult your doctor, who can adjust your doses and monitor for any side effects. For depression and anxiety, cannabis strains with high concentrations of CBD and low THC may be more beneficial, as CBD has been shown to have anxiolytic and antidepressant effects. Marijuana therapy should not replace traditional pharmacological treatment, but only support it.

Hello, from my experience, if you want to start medical therapy M, I recommend discontinuing any medication and choosing the right variety for yourself and then you will eventually see how you feel. The key is to choose the right strain, so before taking anything, I advise you to read the terpene profiles and the effects of the dried herb.
