Good morning
I'm taking the last blister of novynette tablets and after finishing the blister (5 more tablets to go) I plan to put on a kylena pad during the withdrawal spotting
I would like to ask how I am protected when I am changing contraception, can I have sexual intercourse without the need for additional protection, i.e. condoms, is it necessary to protect during the period before inserting the Kylen IUD

If the IUD is inserted within 7 days of taking the last active Novynette tablet (i.e. no later than 7 days after a bleeding break), you will be protected immediately and you do not need to use additional contraception in the form of a condom.
If you do not experience withdrawal bleeding during the 7-day break after taking the active tablets of Novynette, your doctor may ask you to perform a pregnancy control test.
According to the manufacturer:
"Before insertion, the woman should be carefully examined to detect any
contraindications to the establishment of the system. Pregnancy should be ruled out before insertion. "
