Good morning. I use Implanon NXT as my method of contraception. It's summer and I'm using DryDry's long-acting antiperspirant under my armpits. It contains aluminum chloride. Is it safe to use such antiperspirants in combination with Implanon NXT? Do they reduce its effectiveness?
I would also like to ask about the Akriderm cream. Sometimes I get dermatitis and then I apply this cream to my body. Sometimes in large areas (for example, the leg below the knee) or in the groin area. It happens that I use it for several days in a row, even several times a day. Can Akriderm Cream reduce the effectiveness of Implanon NXT?
I also use products with a high concentration of urea (10% and 30%) and preparations containing azelaic, lactic, glycolic and salicylic acids. I apply them to large areas of my body because I suffer from skin keratosis. Can any of these ingredients affect the contraceptive efficacy of Implanon NXT with daily use? Should I be worried about this?
Thank you for your answer.
