Doesn't the morning-after pill sometimes have an early abortifacient effect? So, isn't it the murder of an embryo - a child at the beginning of its development, an abortion? Isn't it the same with some hormonal pills? After all, they have a double effect (they contain estrogens and progestagens), so in addition to their contraceptive effect, they can lead to miscarriage. The same applies to intrauterine devices, the so-called "spirals". They can also work this way... I am writing about this in a separate question, so that everything is in one place, so that everyone has constant/continuous access to this thread and can think about it, stop it, and above all - draw some conclusions from my message.
"Another effect of the use of hormonal agents is their possible early abortifacient effect. This is caused by a decrease in the thickness of the uterine mucosa, which may result in difficulty in implanting the embryo. This means an early, imperceptible miscarriage for the woman" (source: "W Drodze" 2013, no. 05)
"Korzekwa-Kaliszuk noted that the so-called "morning after" pill "can work in two ways:
"One of these actions is indeed contraceptive action, i.e. one that prevents conception of a child. However, if conception has already occurred, or it will occur despite the use of the pill - and it is possible - then the pill works by hindering the movement of the already fertilized egg and causes changes in the mucous membrane to the uterus, which prevent it from implanting" - she said.
In this case, it is unacceptable. This is a great evil. I think that doctors should tell their patients about it - everyone should know the consequences. All this should be taken into account... We don't know how it can work, we don't know for sure, so it's better not to risk, not to play with human life - it may end badly, and the woman may not even realize what happened, that there could actually have been a miscarriage. If all this is true, then no one should have access to such contraceptives, and the use of such solutions should be prohibited, illegal. Not to mention the side effects on a woman's health, which are enormous, including the likelihood of infertility.
