Otrivin, opinions and questions

My doctor recommended that I use Otrivin nasal drops 3 times a day for 3 doses (for 5 days). Today I read that the allowed dose according to the leaflet is much lower (max. 3 doses a day). I have been using the drops for 3 days now as recommended by my doctor. Should I reduce the dose?
I would like to add that I use this medicine for eustachian tube inflammation and combine it with Sudafed and Fanipos. After 3 days I still have a runny nose and a very stuffy nose.

I've been experiencing a strange sensation in my ear for four days. When I finish speaking, I hear a "pu" in my left ear (a sound resembling an ear being unblocked, blowing). I hear something like this during some sounds, e.g. birds singing, and then it rhythmically rumbles in my ear, just like birds sing.
I also have a slight pain in this ear, it really rarely hurts but it will happen. I noticed that my ear hurts when I was sitting in the car and my mother closed the trunk (loud sound), then I felt pain in it. I have been to the GP and have been taking Cetraxal since Monday. Although the doctor said that she did not see anything wrong with the ear. I will add that I was driving in a car with air conditioning all Friday. Does anyone know what could be in my ear? I also feel a slight clogging inside, but I can hear normally.
