Hello. I have a very unusual question. I have been using Microgynon 21 hormonal pills for a year for both health reasons and to prevent pregnancy. I have a Syrian hamster, which yesterday was prescribed by the veterinarian due to otitis the medicine shown in the photo. Due to the fact that hamsters are small and very lively animals, putting in drops is quite a challenge. The hamster struggles, pulls away. For this reason, I am not even able to say whether and how many drops I managed to put into my pet's ears. However, this morning, when I tried to administer the drug again, I began to wonder about the question: can contact with this drug affect my hormone therapy in any way? The hamster had wet hair behind the ears from the drops, and I certainly had medicine on my fingers as well. If I scratched my nose or hugged my hamster to my neck to calm it down, brushed my lips against the fur and then the drug got into the digestive system with saliva - could this affect Microgynon 21? I will also add that yesterday I took the last pill before the break. I would like to ask you to take care of my case. Thank you.
