Good morning. I am in the process of taking my fourth pack of Microgynon 21 tablets (currently day six, and I take the pills every day at 6 p.m.). I had intercourse with my boyfriend after taking the second and third pills without additional protection and with the ending outside. My question is about the contraceptive method being effective, when I use the pills regularly, I have not missed any of them, always at the same time. I don't take any medication orally. On the fourth day of taking the pill and during the break before the withdrawal bleeding (one or two days), I applied the Fucibet Lipid cream topically. The drug was once prescribed to me by a dermatologist and then by a gynecologist. I lubricated the affected area once a day. Is the effectiveness of contraception preserved? Should I be worried that the ingredients in the medicine have affected the contraceptive function? I will also add that about a dozen or so hours after intercourse I began to feel a slight stinging of the ovaries. Yesterday only the right one. Could it also be a matter of the intercourse itself, the positions I take and the fact that I have only been fully sexually active for a short time (at that time there was a problem due to the large size of my partner's penis)? Thank you for your help.
