How to avoid reducing the contraceptive effectiveness of Atywia when preparing for a colonoscopy?

Is it possible to somehow reconcile taking Atyvia with preparing for a colonoscopy? I just have a colonoscopy in the 1st week of contraceptive pills, I would not like to skip the pill, but taking drugs for purging throughout the day before the procedure will be a problem. Normally I take the tablets at 22.

For @Domi: You can take the tablet at 15 if you use the laxative from 21. The next day, you can immediately start using the tablets at 22 and keep this time as the time of taking the Atyvia tablet. There is no need to change the time gradually. It is important to take the next tablets at about the same time.

I have to start taking laxative at 9 p.m. It just falls in 1 day of atywia tablets. Will taking the tablet on that day at 15, and on the following days every two hours later gradually to stay permanently at 22, will protection be maintained?

To avoid reducing the effectiveness of Atywia, it is necessary to plan the intake of the laxative preparation when preparing for colonoscopy so that defecation does not occur within 3-4 hours from the moment of taking the tablet. Bowel movements before taking the drug do not affect its effectiveness: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/8018/atywia-tabletki-powlekane/ulotka/186034 More about how to use contraception correctly we wrote in the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-prawidlowo-stosowac-antykoncepcje
