Can Kyleen's insole cause weight loss and water collection in the body?

Does kyleena's cap cause weight loss? I have half a year and since then I'm still starve and I 3 kilos. It feels inflated although the water was collected. Is this normal?

Side effects of the Kyleena IUD include m.in weight gain, menstrual disorders, headache and abdominal pain. A full description of the side effects of the cartridge and their frequency can be found in the package leaflet of the instrument: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/95362/kyleena-przyrzad/ulotka/238361 If you experience side effects after the Kyleen cartridge, I encourage you to report them. Reporting side effects allows you to increase control over medicines available on the market. We wrote more about how and why to report side effects in the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-i-dlaczego-zglaszac-dzialania-niepozadane

I had the Khylena IUD inserted on July 1, 2024.
Pose: Terrible, I never had a child so I didn't give birth, I felt unwell. Contractions that followed the days after the insertion, very painful but normal that said, the midwife had warned me.

Since the installation, nothing has really improved. Mood deterioration such as depression, hormonal year on the chin, vaginosis and systematic infection after each period or spotting. A lot of spotting by the way. Full water retention. I have gained 5kg since the application and in places where I never gain (arms, back, thighs). Increased cellulite and yet no difference in the way I eat.

I thought that everything would eventually settle itself, which the doctors kept repeating but no. I have it removed in a few days and I stop all contraception because I have tried everything (pill, implant and now IUD). Copper is not recommended for me because I have basic bleeding periods.

Here. Every experience is different for every woman, but for me, hormones are the end of the road

I would like to ask about the Gynefix copper cylinder
Will eating bread such as bowel problems or irritable bowel syndrome reduce the effectiveness of the Gynefix copper IUD?

I have had an IUD since December 2020, during this period my depression has intensified, I am undergoing psychiatric treatment. From the very beginning, I noticed excessive sweating and literally foul-smelling sweat, in addition to hair in places where it was not present before. I feel like a balloon filled with water. I have time until December, but I have the impression that the longer I have this cartridge, the more everything intensifies on such a scale that I can't stand it. Is anyone here after removing the insole for a long time and noticed a change for the better?

I'll also share my impressions, maybe they will help. I put the insole on 5 months ago. The biggest plus was the lack of period. Apart from that, only cons. Pimples on my chin and oily skin, where I had never had a problem with it before, a swollen face in the morning, but the worst thing was that from 1-2 months anxiety, apathy and constant fatigue appeared. I would prefer not to leave my bed. This lack of will to live tired me so much that yesterday I decided to remove the insole. I know that it will take some time before the hormonal balance returns to normal, but I have the impression that I am already feeling better and I am smiling again. And my libido dropped to 0, so that was also another argument for taking it out.

Iwona (Anonymous, 213.77.57.) 2 months ago

I searched and found answers to my problems... reading your comments I find 100%. I put on Kyllen 1.5 years ago and since then I have +10 to weight, without changing my lifestyle and without gluttony... For several months I have been struggling with pimples and very difficult skin around the ears and chin (in the hormonal zone). Tests performed regularly are always normal, I even checked my hormones and also without deviations from the norm. On top of that, cosmic cellulite and fat accumulate in the abdominal area as if I were pregnant. I look now the way I looked right after giving birth... catastrophe... On top of that, I am constantly tired, I sleep for 8 hours and in the morning I barely get out of bed.... reading your stories, I'm already sure that I need to get rid of it as soon as possible

I had an IUD for 5 years, I gained 15 kg :(:(:( Water was retained in my body terribly, despite using prescription diuretics, I was gaining weight all the time :(

Paula (Anonymous, 2a02:1811:cc81:4700::) 6 months ago

I believe you have these symptoms. I have never given birth and I have an insole on 1 time, it is a Kyleena insole. It was recommended to me by my gynaecologist due to the fact that side effects are rare. They occurred in my case. I've been bleeding all the time since the IUD was inserted (vaginal discharge and bleeding), I've been to the gynaecologist and I was given pills but they didn't help. I have occasional headaches that I didn't have before inserting the IUD. I feel swollen, tired and occasionally have a stomachache and nausea. I gained 7 kg. Rarely, but I also feel dizzy. I made a decision: I'm pulling it out. This insert is not for me.

Asia (Anonymous, 193.238.191.) 9 months ago

I put the insole on in December 2023, I did not give birth and so far I do not plan to, the decision was made for convenience reasons.
The insertion was almost painless, the first three days as well. Later, for about two months, I had occasional abdominal pain and spotting. For the next three months, I had very intense, but occasional abdominal pain, and then irregular spotting. Unfortunately, ten months after insertion, the abdominal pain did not go away, the spotting is still irregular, sometimes lasting 7-8 days. On top of that, my mood deteriorated. Even though I don't really look at the weight, I have the feeling of being inflated, which is not very pleasant. I'm in the process of testing whether everything is ok and so far there are no deviations from the norm. After all this time and these experiences, I am in favor of taking out the liner. Unfortunately, the side effects bother me too much to outweigh the benefits of this drug.

And I have had the Kyleena IUD since 03.2021 and the IUD was inserted about 3 months after giving birth and I have no complaints

Lena  (Anonymous, 213.192.74.) 11 months ago

I've had the Kyleena cartridge for over 5 years - even transferred. The first month/month and a half I actually felt "kind of good", but it wasn't that bad. I made big eyes reading the comments posted here - nothing was wrong with me. I gained more weight "with age" and because of my lifestyle, but not too much. Menstruation is a gentle spotting. No ailments, no dizziness. I took it out only because of the expiration date and planned parenthood.

Olaa (Anonymous, 109.243.69.) 11 months ago

Hello.I also took out Kyleene after 2 years.Spotting practically all the time. I gained 7 kg. Libido 0.Always tired. At the end I got inflammation in the vagina spontaneously from this very IUD (which was supposed to be therapeutic) I heard it everywhere. I have been to 3 different gynaecologists and each of them advised against taking it out, even praised it. However, I felt bad. I decided to pull it out, but it had to be done under anesthesia (surgically) because the insert retracted and it could not be pulled out normally. Nevermore. I was inflated like a balloon. I was gaining weight from nothing and just like here described below, I started to not fit into my clothes. I strongly advise against it. I used to have a copper spiral and everything was great, I felt very good.

Mery (Anonymous, 91.145.161.) 12 months ago

I have had two births. I started Kyleen on 10.2020. I gained 15 kg, I was swollen and, worst of all, I started to feel so dizzy that I lay still and vomited for 4 to 4 to a month. I took out the insole in 08.2022. By January 2023, only 5 kg had fallen. The dizziness did not go away. I diagnosed them for 2.5 years: ENT, neurologist, audiologist, infectious diseases, MRIs, neurosurgeon and many others. I'm healthy, but the dizziness remains. I have to take betaserc every day, otherwise I won't be able to walk. I also "recommend" Kyleen.

Agnika (Anonymous, 46.227.240.) 12 months ago

I've had the Kyleena IUD for two years and at first I was happy about the lack of periods and trouble-free contraception, but it gets worse and worse every month. The doctor recommended it to me due to the low amount of hormones, but the side effects unfortunately still interfere with my daily functioning. First of all, I gained over 10 kg despite healthy eating, I feel swollen - I don't fit into my clothes :( I'm tired all the time, I don't have the strength to do anything. I did a set of tests - everything is normal, so it seems that Kyleena is to blame, and I will say goodbye to her later this year. I hope everything will return to normal

I'm about to put on the Insert, and I've been reading these comments and I kinda don't believe it. Ladies comment ONLY on the kyleen insert or do you mean another but you write under this post ? Ladies who have given birth write, so you can't write about kyleen because I bet on women who don't give birth! If you gave birth, you should have mirene. Or change gynecologists. Please
o statements only from women who have NOT given birth and have Kylenne on ! Because you are misleading potential users of the IUD.

Hello
Can any of you describe how it feels after removing the insert? Weight has dropped ? Have your symptoms subsided? Today I'm going to take out ... IUD from 15 months On a scale of +7/8 kg (fluctuates all the time, but more up than down)

Madga (Anonymous, 37.225.90.) 16 months ago

I've had the IUD for 2 years. The first 7 months I was bleeding and spotting non-stop. Continuously. Now I have a stingy period, but it lasts a minimum of 11 days... The first six months were a nightmare, cramps, migraines, fatigue. My skin was covered in painful cysts and I had to take antibiotics. My libido dropped to 0. For about 5 months I had insomnia, weight gain, big breasts and belly, fatigue at an indescribable level. Constant headaches. The gynecologist says it's impossible, but I've had enough and I'm going to take out the crap. This is an experiment that works for a small percentage of women, and for the rest of them the side effects take away normal lives. Nevermore

Agnieszka (Anonymous, 178.37.47.) 16 months ago

I've had a keleena insert for over a year now.... massacre. For 9 months I had spotting and from the 10th month I had such periods and spotting that I had to use tampons. Despite the fact that I'm an active person and I train 3 times a week, I got cellulite, mainly on my stomach, which the world has never seen and I've gained about 3 kilos so far. Not to mention my strange moods and tearfulness, dizziness.... There have been mega skin problems, but for now I'm waiting for an allergy consultation in 4 months. But after reading your comments, I know that I'm pulling out the liner in February!

Natalia (Anonymous, 188.146.152.) 17 months ago

I've been wearing the kyleen pad for 4.5 years, yesterday I decided to take it out and put on a new hormone-free one with silver. I really regret that I did it only now... Because I wasn't aware that it was her who caused such havoc in my body, including 9 kg plus, constant swelling, despite exercise and a caloric deficit, the weight stood still, depression and anxiety (treated by a psychiatrist) now I know that she was behind it, and 4.5 years ago you could hardly read anything about her... I believe it's only going to get better from here...

Urszula (Anonymous, 188.33.225.) 17 months ago

I've had the Kyleena pad for almost two years, I've gained 7 kg (I've never had a tendency to gain weight), I have problems with my skin (oily skin and hard acne resistant to all cosmetics). The worst symptom is CHRONIC fatigue, which is also resistant to many hours of sleep and rest during the day. I made the decision to take it out in the hope that everything would go back to normal.

Zoria (Anonymous, 95.160.157.) 19 months ago

Hello.
I put on a kyllen 7 months after giving birth. The first two days dizziness and nausea, lack of strength. It's been two months. During this time, if not for a two-week period, the slime with the blood comes out. Still something. After a month I noticed that I got swollen and I gained a bit of weight, I started drinking a lot of nettle tea and it is much better (but I pee more). Also from time to time abdominal pains that have gone away after a month and a half. For now, I'm waiting a few more months, if the secretions don't go away, then I'll decide whether to leave it or take it out.

Leona (Anonymous, 83.22.165.) 1 year ago

I also wondered what was happening to me. . I have an insert for 5 months, I gained 6 kg, I have migraines lasting several days, skin problems, strange belly boules, cellulite, everything tastes triple to me. I try to limit my diet (less carbs) and move more (exercise, bike, walk). Nothing helps, soon I will have to change the entire wardrobe, and my gynecologist sent me to an endocrinologist. I was hoping it would be okay...
Apparently, not everyone serves the same, the same. Just a moment and the decision will be simple. Only the cash register is a pity :(.

Ania (Anonymous, 178.16.114.) 1 year ago

I don't believe what I'm reading, I thought there was something wrong with me. Kyleena from two years (already pulled out) + 10 kg, terrible acne , dizziness. The test results are perfect. Now I see that it was all the fault of the insert. And as I assumed it in the net were only good opinions.

Smutna  (Anonymous, 164.127.247.) 2 years ago

Unfortunately, I also have a huge problem to lose weight from putting on the insert. I have a year of time and I think I decide to remove it. Constant pain in the breast and lower abdomen plus this weight ... Since I have an insert it seems to me that even taking on air fats 😐 the biggest mistake I made!

Andzia  (Anonymous, 185.209.70.) 2 years ago

Hello dear Lord, I again have a Kynell insert and I felt for 5 years super nothing happened weight in the norm, etc. only now just minol period of these 5 years and I start to gain weight feels swollen and I do just pyza or one of them had?

Izabela (Anonymous, 212.75.116.) 2 years ago

I've had kyleena for almost a year now. Looking at all the comments - I have what I was looking for for a few months. I did all possible tests (all from blood, urine, feces, x-rays, ECG, Dopplers, body composition analysis, etc.), I was at several doctors of various specializations. Everywhere beautiful results, a specimen of health, buteeee, dizziness so strong that I have to sit down, swelling, cellulite, I gained 2 kg even though I am non-stop on reduction and I exercise intensively several times a week, my hair falls out by handfuls (I had to do doczepy!) and I have skin problems for the first time in several years! Before the IUD, I gave birth 2 times and took birth control pills. It was great. I'm thinking about getting rid of this insert. Dear sh*t. The only plus is the lack of menstruation.

nieszczęśliwa (Anonymous, 89.64.7.) 2 years ago

Hi, I have an insole for a year, since I put on I gained 11 kg, without changing my eating habits (but increasing physical activity), I am swollen, I can not have bent legs for a long time (pain due to swelling), I have problems with complexion, hair loss (I take supplements). Zero libido, depressive states, lack of desire to live. It has never been so bad with me.

Dagmara (Anonymous, 62.122.233.) 2 years ago

I have had the insert for half a year. I gained 10kg, full of pimples on the neckline, back, depressive states, poor mental state - I feel swollen all the time, belly bloated mascara today I arrange to remove the insert

Gruba (Anonymous, 164.127.247.) 2 years ago

I do not recommend this insert! As if I had read an opinion before setting it up, I would not have decided on it! I have it from May 2022 I gained at that time 6 kg mainly in the stomach, hay hair, cellulite on the thighs such that shock ... Absence of menstruation, constant pain in the breast and abdomen ... Everything irritates me and I can't focus on anything... I feel heavy and I'm constantly tired ... Defeat!!!!

Hello Sir, what were your first days after putting on the insert? I started a week ago, since then I have terrible nausea, lack of appetite and feel constantly tired. How long can it take? Despite the short time since the foundation, I am already thinking about removing the :(

Olioki (Anonymous, 2.58.216.) 2 years ago

2 months and unbridled appetite, I'm still hungry as if I didn't eat all day. I'm swollen. I advise against tragedy.

Załamana  (Anonymous, 88.199.172.) 3 years ago

Hello girls, I also have a similar problem, after 3 pregnancy I decided to put on an insole for 5 years. It's been 1.5 and it's not good, the husband says it's a tragedy. In general, after pregnancies I returned to weight but now since I have an IUD there is a problem with weight where I always knew how to control it, so much without food and even when eating vegetables and fruits. And the worst are my mood swings, I often cry, I am constantly dissatisfied, I make hysteria about nonsense, constant fatigue, bad mood, slowly depressive states, I have never had, I do not sleep too much, etc. my husband is fed up with me and I do not want to function like that anymore. That's just, greetings

Ilona (Anonymous, 188.146.32.) 3 years ago

I have a question for the ladies who gained weight at the insole. How long did it take you to get back in shape?

Anonim  (Anonymous, 78.10.61.) 3 years ago

Hey, I'm just thinking about removing the insert and I'm here. I've had it for a year, since then I've had terrible skin problems, my hair is falling out and of course my weight problems. Also there are depressive states that I did not have before, tearfulness, until I read the posts here I did not know that it could be related. Next week I'm thinking about taking out :(

Nina (Anonymous, 5.173.138.) 3 years ago

I also have such a problem. Insert for just over a year. I gained over 10kg during this time. It feels like a balloon that is about to burst. Skin and skin problems. In addition, I have depressive states, I am eternally dissatisfied and I feel sorry for myself. This was not the case before. I'm thinking about removing the insert. Ladies who decided to remove the insert - how long did you get back in shape?

Bibi (Anonymous, 83.28.244.) 3 years ago

I have gained 13 kg since I started and I also feel swollen. :(

Aneta (Anonymous, 5.173.241.) 3 years ago

I've had a Kyleen insert for exactly a year. During this time, I gained 8 kg without absolutely changing my eating habits. Before this insert I had a plain copper and for 1.5 years I lost 30 kg. The doctor persuaded me to these low-hormonal ones, claiming that it has no effect on weight gain. The worst choice,I do not recommend!!! Next week I'm going to pull it out and I'll never decide on it again. Water collects, I look like a whale, I do not have menstruation, for this amazing migraines, depressive states, anxiety, even suicidal thoughts have happened .... I've never felt so bad before!

Olioli (Anonymous, 5.173.137.) 3 years ago

I do not sincerely recommend the keyleen insert. I gave birth to a baby in September and lost weight nicely for 3 months after giving birth. In December, I put on a keyleen insert and suddenly started to gain weight. After 4 years, I weigh 100 kg, starting from a weight of 83 kg. I devoured food and did not eat. I really advise against it. Now I took out the insert and I start to lose weight, because so far with each diet I lost only 5 kg and there was a stop.

Witam!

Katarzyna (Anonymous, 31.0.90.) 3 years ago

Mam tą wkładkę 1,5 roku przytyłam 8 kg, jestem taka spuchnięta, stany depresyjne, hydrominum nie pomaga, po porodzie ważyłam 52kg, teraz wazę prawie 60 przy wzroście 158 cm, wazę więcej niż przed zajściem w ciąże i w trakcie ciąży. Odżywiając się zdrowo i pijąc 3 litry wody dziennie. Dieta zrównoważona lepsza niż przed ciąża …

Do @Lala:

Hana (Anonymous, 213.108.152.) 3 years ago

AnastazjaAnna (Anonymous, 176.103.72.) 3 years ago

Wczoraj dopiero zaczęłam analizować skąd takie zjawisko… i trafiłam tutaj, do Was. Będę chciała wyciągnąć wkładkę po wakacjach. Któraś z Was już to zrobiła? Czy szybko wraca skóra do jakości „sprzed”? Jakie są Wasze plany na dalsza antykoncepcję? Przed córeczką miałam wkładkę miedzianą, wówczas też intensywnie dość trenowałam, ale bez hormonów miałam super skore, choć cellulit był, ale praktycznie niewidoczny.
Ściskam Was :-) Anastazja

Justyna (Anonymous, 178.235.186.) 3 years ago

Hana (Anonymous, 213.108.152.) 3 years ago

J (Anonymous, 213.76.56.) 4 years ago

Jaydess (Anonymous, 45.11.60.) 4 years ago
