Approximately 60 to 70% amoxicillin and 40 to 65% clavulanic acid are excreted unchanged in the urine during the first 6 hours after oral administration of Augmentin tablets. In various studies, it was found that over a period of 24 hours, 50-85% of amoxicillin and 27-60% of clavulanic acid were excreted in the urine. The largest amount of clavulanic acid was excreted within the first two hours after administration. Based on this information, it can be concluded that after about 48 hours from taking the last dose, practically the entire amount of the drug will be excreted from the body and you can drink beer.
