Does stingy bleeding and abdominal pain during the period after taking ellaOne the day after ovulation mean that the pill did not work?
12.99 zł

The pill the day after ellaone taken the day after ovulation, the period started as planned. A week earlier, breast pain, abdominal pain and diarrhea. On the day of the beginning of the period, the same as for any menstruation. Today is the second day of my period, abdominal pain and scanty bleeding. Is this the cause of the morning-after pill, or did the pill not work properly?

ellaOne can affect the nature of your period - cause earlier, later, light or heavier bleeding, as well as symptoms such as abdominal pain or diarrhoea. The symptoms you describe are consistent with the side effects of this pill and do not necessarily indicate its ineffectiveness. However, if your menstruation is unusually short, very scanty or you experience other worrying symptoms, I encourage you to take a pregnancy test. Confirmation of the lack of pregnancy can be a pregnancy test performed about 10 days after intercourse:
