Theoretically, hormonal contraception can affect the metabolism of Sirdalud causing its side effects to be increased, but studies have focused on tablets taken by mouth. The characteristics of Mirena do not indicate the possibility of such a risk (local mechanism of action of the coil), but it is advisable to start treatment with lower doses of Sirdalud, and in the event of disorders such as drowsiness, blood pressure drop, muscle weakness - discontinue the drug and consult a doctor.
