Microgynon ED 28 tablets should be taken at the same time each day, starting on the first day of the cycle with the first tablet from the blister marked with the appropriate day of the week. The blister contains 21 hormonal tablets and 7 placebo tablets, taken in order, with no break between packs. Withdrawal bleeding usually occurs when taking placebo tablets.
