Could taking Itrax in February have had a negative effect on my pregnancy if I became pregnant 2 weeks after the end of treatment?

Itrax – I took it in February, the treatment was completed around February 19. March 2 ovulation – I got pregnant. I'm very worried about whether it was safe, or whether something threatens the fetus? Please let me know..

Itraconazole may have potential teratogenic effects, so it is recommended to avoid pregnancy for at least one month after the end of treatment. In your case, about two weeks have passed, which shortens this recommended interval. The risk to the fetus is not clear, but this does not mean that defects will occur – many pregnancies are normal despite similar situations. However, please report this to your doctor – he or she may recommend additional prenatal tests to monitor the development of the fetus.
