Why I don't have withdrawal bleeding with medication Qlairaif I missed the 7th tablet?

Hello
I forgot to take the 7th tablet (my daughter was hospitalized with stress ect ... I forgot that day to take the tablet) 2 days after this forgetfulness I had bleeding for 5 days (I continued my pack) I took the last tablets but despite that I don't have my period ... I've been taking Qlaira for 15 years, I've never had this problem. Can you tell me if the delay is related to this forgetfulness? Thank you Kind regards

When using Qlaira correctly, you may not experience withdrawal bleeding. Lack of 2 consecutive withdrawal bleeding should be consulted with a doctor.

However, in your case, pill No. 7 was omitted. According to the Qlaira package leaflet: "If a woman has forgotten to start taking the tablets from the new pack, or if she has forgotten to take one or more tablets on days 3 to 9, then there is a risk that she is pregnant (if there has been intercourse within seven days before the missed pill). In this case, you should contact your doctor."

If you had unprotected intercourse within 7 days before the omission, it is recommended to consult a doctor, as the patient may be pregnant. If you do not have intercourse, to minimise the risk of pregnancy, you should take the missed pill as soon as possible (even if it means taking 2 tablets on the same day) and use an additional method of contraception for the next 9 days. Lack of additional protection during this time also poses a risk of pregnancy.

Due to the lack of the procedure described by you after skipping the pill, I encourage you to take a pregnancy test. Online and stationary pharmacies offer ultra-sensitive tests that detect pregnancy even a few days old, such as:

In cities such as Warsaw, Wrocław, Katowice, Kraków, Lublin, Gdańsk, Łódź, Szczecin, Białystok, Poznań and Chorzów, products can be ordered with instant delivery in as little as 1 hour thanks to the Wolt Drive service.

We wrote about which pregnancy test to choose and when to do it in the article:

Obtaining a positive result should be urgently consulted with a doctor. In the case of a negative result and no bleeding, you should go for a consultation in the standard mode. You can also take advantage of teleconsultation, e.g. via the Gdziepolek.pl portal:
