Cipronex (ciprofloxacin) does not reduce the effectiveness of the Drovelis contraceptive pill.

Ciprofloxacin does not directly affect the metabolism of estrogen and drospirenone, but can only disrupt the intestinal flora, which could theoretically impair the absorption of hormones. If in doubt, it is worth consulting a doctor.
