To @Martaa:

If there is a need, e.g. to delay the onset of withdrawal bleeding, you can skip the placebo tablets and start using the tablets from the next pack. However, it is usually not recommended to skip placebo tablets regularly/take breaks from taking the medicine, as this is associated with an increased risk of spotting and mid-cycle bleeding. Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, use this medicine as described in the package leaflet. Alternatively, instead of placebo pills, you can take a 4-day break. Placebo pills are designed to help you take the medication regularly.

If you are not satisfied with your current schedule of taking birth control pills, it is worth consulting your gynecologist. He or she will help you choose a more suitable method of contraception for you.

I mean, is it necessary to take placebo breaks?

No, you do not need to take breaks from taking Drovelis. A pack of Drovelis contains 28 tablets, including 24 pink tablets with the active ingredient and 4 white placebo tablets. The use of the drug should be started with the active tablets (pink). To help you use it regularly and minimize mistakes, you can use the sticker with the days of the week included in the package, which should be stuck on the front of the blister. Depending on the day you start taking the medicine, you should choose the appropriate sticker (e.g. if you start taking the medicine on Tuesday, you should choose the sticker starting on Tuesday). The tablets should be used until the end of the blister. The next pack should be started the next day, after the last placebo (white) tablet from the previous pack has been taken.
