When used correctly, Qlaira provides high contraceptive efficacy. If you did not have diarrhoea, vomiting, did not take medicines that may affect the effectiveness of contraception and did not miss a tablet, you did not need to use ellaOne. The ellaOne pill has a negative effect on the effectiveness of regularly used contraception, so now you should use additional contraceptive methods (such as condoms) to start a new cycle.
