Why does the doctor prescribe Dostinex?
Hello, I live abroad. I was pregnant and had a miscarriage at 8 weeks. When I was on vacation in Ukraine. I went to check with a gynecologist and passed the tests .According to the tests, it turned out that prolactin was increased.And the gynecologist prescribed to drink 1/4 tab 1 time a week for 1 month .Dostinex, it's been six months since the weekend .I can't understand why to drink these pills ? Only to reduce prolactin ?

Dostinex is a preparation used in m.in. the treatment of disorders associated with excessive prolactin secretion (hyperprolactinemia), including menstrual disorders (absence, scanty or irregular menstruation), anovulacation, galactorrhea, in the treatment of pituitary adenoma, idiopathic hyperprolactinemia or Turkish empty saddle syndrome, associated with hyperprolactinemia.
