I inserted the Kyleena IUD, I admit that I felt a lot of pain. In the following days the pain did not stop and the headache had also appeared. I took painkillers for a week then decided to take it off. Painful also in the removal. Painful for the wallet too

Severe (migraine) headaches are a contraindication to the use of Kyleena; Unfortunately, the IUD itself also very often causes such ailments (as well as pain in the pelvis). Patients who have previously experienced episodes of migraine attacks should not use hormonal contraception (although some tolerate single-component pills well). The solution in this case may be a hormone-free coil (heavy menstrual bleeding will be a contraindication).
