Should severe abdominal pain after inserting a Kyleena IUD be a reason to see a doctor?
Hello, I am already a year after putting on the IUD and a few times I had huge pains in the place of insertion of the IUD, such as immediately after the procedure. They are so painful with shearing from the legs as there is a cramp I literally can not move , they are similar to labor contractions . Is it the pain resulting from amenorrhea or should I contact a doctor? The pain is irregular and occurred 3 times over the course of a year ,

To @Kasia: If the pain persists despite the use of painkillers, you should consult your gynecologist.
My lower abdomen hurts terribly after putting on painkillers do not help what to do? How long can such pain last?

Ból brzucha miednicy mniejszej jest bardzo często (u mniej niż jednej pacjentki na dziesięć) obserwowanym działaniem niepożądanym po założeniu wkładki Kyleena. Jeżeli dolegliwości są tak silne i porównywalne z bólem porodowym proponuję wizytę u ginekologa. Lekarz poprzez badanie przedmiotowe i USG będzie mógł sprawdzić czy nie doszło do jakiejś nieprawidłowości.
