Hello, I take the Qlaira pill and forgot the 8th day. I had sexual intercourse on the 7th day. I couldn't look up the 8th pill either, because I noticed it too late. Do I have to worry?

According to the manufacturer's information, if you miss the 8th pill after more than 12 hours have passed since taking the previous one, you should immediately take the missed tablet and the next one at the agreed time, even if it means taking two tablets on the same day. In addition, additional contraception (e.g. a condom) should be used for the next 9 days. Due to the fact that the 8th pill was omitted, and there was unprotected sexual intercourse within 7 days before it was missed, there is a risk of pregnancy. Therefore, 10-14 days after intercourse, I recommend taking a pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy.
