The most common side effects observed during Risperdalem treatment include sleep disturbances, excessive sedation/drowsiness, slowness of movement and headaches. Common side effects include: respiratory tract infections, hyperprolactinemia, appetite disorders, dizziness, increased blood pressure. The fact that such problems have been described by the drug manufacturer does not mean that every patient using Risperdal will observe similar disorders. Treatment is always based on the ratio of benefits to potential losses - in the case of treatment of serious disorders, the first goal is to stabilize the patient.
