Risperdal (risperidone) and Olanzapine are mainly used to treat schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, and Rxulti (brexpiprazole) is also used for schizophrenia. Risperdal can be used in the short-term treatment of aggression in people with dementia and behavioural disorders in children.

Exceeding the dose of Esogno (5 mg) may lead to an increased risk of side effects such as extrapyramidal symptoms (muscle stiffness and tremors, slowness of movement, gait disturbances). Doses higher than 10 mg per day are usually not recommended as they are not more effective.
