Hello good afternoon, I completed my pylera treatment a month ago and to this day I still have complaints after eating. Headaches, nausea from time to time. What can be the reason for this? I have to say that I also have iron deficiency due to the virus.

If you have a persistent headache or nausea after a month after using Pylera, I encourage you to consult your doctor. If you are unable to visit us in person, I encourage you to use the teleconsultation, e.g. via the Gdziepolek.pl portal:

Side effects with Pylera may last for quite a long time. Side effects can occur until all components of the drug are eliminated from the body.
The component with the longest half-life is bismuth. In some patients, the half-life of bismuth reaches up to 90 hours (almost 4 days), which means that only after about 19 days trace amounts remain in the body.
After a month, there is a very high probability that the discomfort you experience is not due to the use of the drug. Additional tests may be needed to determine the cause of the headaches and nausea.
If you use iron preparations, it is likely that they cause nausea. If you have any additional questions, please provide the name of the preparation used.
