Hello, I have been using neomycinum 2x2 + XiFAXAN 3x1 for 4 days, I am additionally using Vibin Mini contraception. Should I be afraid of reducing the effectiveness of contraceptive pills?

Potential reduction in the effectiveness of contraception is initiated within 1-2 days of starting treatment. However, it should be borne in mind that semen can remain in the female genital tract and potentially be able to fertilize for up to 5 days, so it is better to use additional protection from the first day of treatment.
The gap between contraception and Xifaxan and Neomycinum does not matter in this case. Regardless of the time of taking them, the contraceptive effect may be weakened.
Do xifacan and neomyvinum reduce the effectiveness of contraception from the first days of taking them? Or only after a few days?
Should there be a gap between antibiotics and contraception?

Neomycinum and Xifaxan may reduce the effect of hormonal contraception. During the use of these drugs and for 7 days after the end of the treatment, additional protection should be used, e.g. in the form of a condom.
