Good morning, for half a year I used Nuvaring, for a week I have been on Atywia Daily but because of the side effects I want to return to Nuvaring - today (Friday) I took the 7th tablet from the leaf - can I immediately set up the ring tomorrow or do I have to wait 7 days and only the next Friday put on the ring or wait for the first day of bleeding and then put on? Thank you in advance for your reply.

It is always recommended to consult a doctor before making a change in the contraceptive method. If, after all, you want to switch from Atywia Daily back to Nuvaring, then according to the current medical literature, the most advantageous way to change your contraceptive would be to finish the Atywia Daily blister and then start taking the contraceptive pill. You can apply the disc immediately the day after taking your last Axia tablet or after a 7-day break (i.e. when you would start a new Axia pack). This method of use will maintain proper contraceptive protection and there will be no need to use an additional method of contraception in the form of a condom.
