If I started my Desmoxan but had to pause 2.5 days in, can it lower its effectiveness?
I started last week, and felt the effects by the end of the first day. By day 2, I was smoking much mess often.
But on day 2, I had a doctor’s appointment and was prescribed a medication to trial. I started having funky side effects, and I was unable to work out if it was the Desmoxan, this other medication, or the combination causing it.
It was an important medication for my health, so I thought it best to pause the Desmoxan (I could not get in touch with anyone in out of hours to get advice)
It was the other medication. After 7 days, I resumed the Desmoxan. I no longer feel any of the effects on it I did before. I thought it may be because I effectively ‘restarted’ it & so I did the 6x a day for 5 days. It’s not helped at all with my desire to smoke this time.
What is best to do now? Did I take the wrong approach & now the medication isn’t working? Should I try and stop altogether now that is is Day 5 and see if the treatment helps if I continue?
Or do I need to stop taking it & wait a while before I can resume it again? If so, how long will that need to be in order for it to take effect again properly next time?
