Can I stop using Slinda and start using Drovelis combined tablets?

Hi, I'm in the process of taking Slinda tablets but I do not have the mucus I have changed by the doctor to Drovelis Do I actually have to wait until the end of the slinda package or can I stop taking them and take new combined tablets?

You can stop taking Slinda tablets and start taking Drovelis tablets on any day of your cycle. Drovelis can be started on any day of the cycle instead of the progestin-only tablet (Slinda), but in all these cases an additional mechanical method of contraception (e.g. a condom) should be used for the first 7 days of continuous use of the tablets. Unless the doctor has clearly justified the fact to wait until the end of the package. Unfortunately, I do not know your detailed clinical condition. We have prepared some interesting articles about contraception: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/antykoncepcja-hormonalna https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-prawidlowo-stosowac-antykoncepcje https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jakie-leki-oslabiaja-skutecznosc-antykoncepcji https://www.gdziepolek.pl/blog/historia-antykoncepcji-metody-zapobiegania-ciazy-kiedys-i-dzis
