Many doctors after sclerotherapy recommend discontinuation of hormonal contraception (especially two-syntactic, such as Qlaira) for a period of 2 months. The procedure itself is not a contraindication to the use of hormonal contraception, but the occurrence of varicose veins or the risk of thromboembolism is.
