Can Bioracef cause a rash?

Hello! On Monday I was at the doctor who prescribed me taking 500mg.2x1tabl.for 7 days. After taking the third tablet, a rash popped up under my breasts. I lubricate it with antifungal ointments and they do not help. I still have 10tablets and I do not know whether to stop using but I have a dry cough and the temperature once lower and once higher. Please help. Thanks in advance.

If your question relates to the medicine Bioracef marked in the tags, please read on. Bioracef may cause severe allergic reactions, such as a raised and itchy rash, or other skin reactions such as m.in. skin rash that develops into blisters: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/11827/bioracef-tabletki-powlekane/apteki If you observe a rash, I encourage you to consult a doctor. Your doctor will assess whether your rash may have been caused by Bioracef and will advise you accordingly. Discontinuation of therapy may cause, for example, resistance to the antibiotic used. You can also use the teleadvice offered, m.in. by the Gdziepolek.pl portal: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja I also encourage you to report the occurrence of the rash as a potential side effect of Bioracef. Reporting adverse reactions allows you to increase control over medicines available on the market. We wrote more about how and why to report side effects in the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-i-dlaczego-zglaszac-dzialania-niepozadane
