do Vicks and Gripex reduce the effectiveness of ATYWIA DAILY tablets? I took 3 sachets within 17h tomorrow (Wednesday) I will also take Vicks, can I safely have sex on Saturday?

Vicks and Gripex are preparations containing, m.in. paracetamol. The use of paracetamol at a dose of more than 3g per day reduces the effectiveness of hormonal contraception. 3 sachets of Vicks Antygrip Max, Vick Antygrip Complex and Gripex Hot max respectively contain 3g, 1.5g and 3g of paracetamol. The effectiveness of contraception is maintained if the daily dose of paracetamol does not exceed 3g.
