According to the information provided by the manufacturer of the drug Zentel, it is contraindicated for use in patients under 2 years of age. Some foreign medical institutions indicate that the drug has a good safety profile in younger patients (> 6 months of age), however, the decision to use the drug in this way can only be made by a doctor, assessing the ratio of health benefits to the risk of administering the drug. I enclose monographs on the treatment of parasitic infections at Perth Children's Hospital (Australia): https://pch.health.wa.gov.au/~/media/Files/Hospitals/PCH/General-documents/Health-professionals/ChAMP-Monographs/Albendazole.pdf However, the above source may not be a strong enough reason for a doctor to use Zentel in an 8-month-old baby.
