It is winter and snow and I had birth control pills in my purse and it was very cold outside because it was -9, can this cause the pills to lose their value? Composition.

To @Kvg:
There is no reason to worry, the effectiveness of the drug is preserved.
Is it worth trusting the pharmacy and using the purchased contraceptive pills, and does it affect the effectiveness of birth control pills, if in the pharmacy they were lying on the windowsill (under the windowsill there was a radiator for heating the room) by the window closed with curtains, my offer pills lay there for 1 day, since I ordered them one day ago. After asking the pharmacist how long the pills had been lying there, she said the heating in the battery does not work? That is, the pharmacist sold me pills that were lying on the windowsill next to the radiator for heating the room

To @Kvg:
The low temperature at which the contraceptive pills have been stored for a short time (a few hours) does not affect their effectiveness, as the active substances in the pills are quite stable under such conditions.
However, it is important to avoid storing them in extreme temperatures, both very low and high, in the future, so as not to expose them to damage. If the packaging has not changed its appearance (e.g. the tablets have not discoloured or damaged), you can use them safely.
I bought a new pack of birth control pills and they had to lie in the car for about 4 hours, will a low temperature of 0 degrees affect the effectiveness of birth control pills?

To @Paula:
No, this temperature does not affect the effectiveness of the Vibin mini.
To maintain their effect, they should be stored at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
Hello. Can storing the vibin mini contraceptive pill in a closed car without heating for a little over 4 hours, where it was about 10°C to 5°C outside (the temperature dropped) negatively affect their effectiveness?

Storing birth control pills for 1-2 hours at low temperature (in the original packaging + bag) should not affect the effectiveness and durability of the contraceptive pills. In the case of long-term exposure to low temperatures (several hours to several days), we are no longer sure. Manufacturers usually recommend a room temperature of 15-25 degrees when it comes to storage conditions for tablets. If you notice any visual changes on the tablets, please start a new blister. In the future, it is better to take a tablet before leaving home than to take a pack of medicine with you for a few / several hours on cold days.
