Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, after stopping treatment with Vermox, wait 2-3 days until the active substance is completely expelled and metabolised and only then start treatment with Metronidazole. Your doctor may suggest a different solution, as these medicines are only available with a prescription. The use of Vermox and Metronidazole at the same time is contraindicated due to the potential drug interaction.
