Hello, I would like to ask if the glucometer lancing machine can be used by more than one person? Is this generally the practice? Is there any risk of HIV infection every time I change the lancet? Best regards

We answered a similar question in this thread: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/opinie-i-pytania/89926/czy-kilka-osob-moze-korzystac-z-jednego-nakluwacza-do-glukometru When it comes to the risk of infection with a blood-borne disease, e.g. HIV, there is such a risk when infected blood gets on the skin that is damaged. The blood would have to stay on the lancet and touch the damaged skin of another person. Despite the possibility of reducing the risk, I encourage you to use your set (glucometer + lancing device). For this reason, disposable lancets are used in laboratory conditions and "mass" studies.
