I broke the Ozempic pen. Is it possible to get a replacement pen from the manufacturer?
Good morning, I have been using Ozempic 1mg for several weeks. Unfortunately, the pen turned out to be broken - I had 3 doses left and the inability to administer them. Is it possible to get a replacement pen from another manufacturer? czt can you order a pen from the manufacturer? Greets

It is not recommended to administer the substance from the Ozempic pen by ordinary subcutaneous injection. Ozempic is designed to be administered using a special pen that ensures precise dosing of the drug.
After all, the answer is pointless. The pen is always empty and cartridges with the substance are sold with it, so the question was justified. Can the substance from the cartridge be administered simply by subcutaneous injection?

If in your opinion the pen is broken, please go with it to the pharmacy where you fulfilled your prescription. The pharmacy staff will check whether it is actually not possible to give a dose of the drug and in the event of a malfunction will contact the manufacturer, report a complaint to you. Unfortunately, there are no replacement pens for Ozempic. All pens are pre-charged. To give the next dose of the drug you need a new pen - you can buy it at the pharmacy if you have a prescription. It is not possible to order pens directly from the manufacturer, because they contain a prescription drug that can only be distributed in pharmacies. There are no empty pens that can be filled with medicine.
