The effect of discontinuation of the drug may be a deterioration of, for example, the results of sugar or cholesterol levels (lipidogram). It all depends on why you were recommended to use the drug and what your health situation is in (whether you have diabetes, PCOS, or maybe you are trying to have a child). Please remember that regardless of whether you use the drug or not, in the case of insulin resistance, prediabetes or diabetes, it is still recommended to change your eating habits and regular physical activity, weight loss, if you are overweight or obese.
