Good morning, Today about two hours after waking up I noticed that my contraceptive disc (Mirgi) was cracked on the joint, so I took it out and 2 hours later I put on a new disc. In this case, am I protected from pregnancy, or did the broken disc still retain the proper effect? I do not know when the disc broke, probably during sleep - this is the second disc in the package that broke, I suspect a defective batch. I would like to know if I can have sex without fear. Thank you very much for your reply.

If I inserted a contraceptive ring by inserting it into the vagina, but I did not insert it into the top of the vagina or the bottom of the vagina?
I just put it straight in, is it correct in the sense that it will work effectively protect me from pregnancy?

According to the available information, damage to Mirga's contraceptive disc may have resulted in a reduction in contraceptive protection. Therefore, it would be advisable to use an additional contraceptive method for the next 7 days, e.g. a condom. In the event that during the period when the disc was damaged, intercourse occurred, there is a risk of getting pregnant. If you observe any symptoms that may indicate the presence of pregnancy, you should perform a pregnancy test, the types of which can be read at the following link: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/test-ciazowy-jaki-wybrac-i-kiedy-zrobic
