Hi If I take the drug Trulicity 4.5 mg I can convert it to ozempic? And what dose should it be? I have a visit to the doctor at the end of the month and to get ozempic I have to order it in the pharmacy and therefore my question, it is known that there is a 😞 problem with its availability

In response to the great interest of patients, a non-reimbursed drug Ozempic from parallel imports appeared in pharmacies. The availability of the drug in pharmacies can be checked here: Ozempic 0.5 mg https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/99258/ozempic-iniekcja/apteki?pvid=275329 Ozempic 1 mg https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/99258/ozempic-iniekcja/apteki?pvid=275351

Ozempic contains a different active substance (semaglutide) than Trulicity (dulaglutide). These are not substitutes, so changing the drug requires consulting a doctor. If you start treatment with a new medicine, you must follow the manufacturer's instructions, i.e. if you start taking Ozempic, it should initially be 0.25 mg 1 ×/week (unless your doctor tells you otherwise). In the case of the drug Ozempic it is necessary to change the needles regularly: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/48855/igly-do-penow-bd-micro-fine-plus-igla/apteki#internetowe I leave a link to the text that may interest you: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/blog/nowe-leki-na-otylosc-i-cukrzyce-jak-nie-dac-sie-oszukac
