Are Gensulin N and Gensulin M30 the same drugs?
Until the visit to the Dibetologist, the family doctor writes prescriptions for the missing drugs. this happens by the meil route. I asked to write GensulinN and the doctor prescribed me Gensulin M30. I noticed it only about bringing the medicine home. Are these the same drugs? I can not contact the doctor,Please advise.

No, unfortunately, they are not the same drugs and it is necessary to write a new prescription, because Gensulin N and Gensulin M30 are also not their counterparts and cannot be dispensed interchangeably in a pharmacy on the basis of one prescription. Please contact your doctor. Gensulin N contains medium-acting human insulin, and Gensulin M30 is a mixture of two different insulins: medium-acting human insulin and short-acting insulin (slightly faster acting) Therefore, Gensulin M30 insulin will work differently than Gensulin N and requires dosage modification.
