Does Sumamed (azithromycin) affect the effectiveness of birth control pills?

The day of the day, up to and including Saturday, I took the antibiotic Sumamed, currently I have the 4th day of taking oral hormonal contraception (belara). Is intercourse interrupted immediately after the end of antibiotic therapy at risk? Is there a risk of pregnancy?

Azithromycin contained in Sumamed does not affect the effectiveness of contraceptive pills. During or immediately after treatment with this drug, there is no need for an additional method of contraception. Provided that you take the contraceptive pill as directed, protection against pregnancy remains preserved.
