Good morning, can taking the antibiotic Zinnat 500mg and Sylvie 30 affect contraception? Should I protect myself during and 7 days after taking an antibiotic?

To @Anonim: Zinnat should be taken at regular intervals, i.e. at 10 and 22:00. The contraceptive protection of Atywia Daily is reduced regardless of the interval between tablets. You can use Atywia Daily at 7 o'clock and then antibiotic at 10 o'clock. What interval should I keep between Zinnat and Atywia Daily? 4 hours is enough? I take Atywie at 7 and Zinnat at 11:30 and 22.

To @Anonim: Protection will be restored 7 days after the end of taking the antibiotic.
What interval should I keep between the antibiotic Zinnat and the contraceptive pill Atywia Daily? I know it weakens contraception. The last intercourse was 5 days ago.

To @Mery: If the tablets were taken correctly, the likelihood of pregnancy is negligible.
I have a question. If today I had intercourse (I have 6 days to menstruation) and I got sick today - I take pills at 20:00 every day and zinatt I took after 22:00 (I take pills over a year after pregnancy) is there a chance that I can get pregnant?

Yes, the antibiotic Zinnat can affect the effectiveness of contraception. Therefore, during the use of the antibiotic and for 7 days after the end of its intake, an additional form of contraception in the form of a condom should be used.
